New event defaults to current day/time GL 1.3.8

I don't know if this problem was common in 1.3.8 and has been fixed in subsequent releases but: If I drill down through the calendar to a day, and click on a time, it launches the Event Editor screen as designed, but instead of adopting the time selected for the new event, it defaults to the current day/time. Is there a fix for this?
