I am just doing some more experimenting.

Let's say you have to use your latest phpdump backup.

What is the procedure for re-installing it into your database. I know how to upload a database downloaded directly from mySQL, have yet to figure out how to PHPDump.

I figured it out, but why did I have to make the following changes

Lines starting with -- changed to #

All LOCK and UNLOCK I changed to # LOCK and # UNLOCK (didn't want to delete just in case)

Why the changes??

it seems its a permission issue on the server
