Hi,

I have $_CONF['show_fullname'] switched to 1, but cannot see any effect of it. Neither in the comment section, nor in the story title nor in the Visitor stats. Is it only for plugins and such?

That was a bit of a last-minute addition to 1.3.10 and isn't used yet (other than by the function COM_getDisplayName which itself isn't used yet).

We have a few places now where it's possible to use either the username or the full name and this is an attempt to create a common interface for that functionality. Plugins can already start using it and Geeklog will also use it in future versions.
