Quote by berber: what i really want to do is copy the database to a temp db and run the two files (mysql_1.3.8_to_1.3.9.php and mysql_1.3.9_to_1.3.10.php) on that DB so i can test the new ver before i upgrade.
That's not the way it's supposed to be done. If you want to test the new version before going live with it, install it in a test environment first, importing the database from your site and running the install script (in upgrade mode) on it.
Quote by berber: I'm going over each file that has been changed and applying the changes from 1.3.8 to 1.3.10 manually with "Compare It".
Why?
Quote by berber: Is there a way to run them manually?
No, not really.
