I hope I don't sound like a complete idiot...sigh...well, I often do sound like one & I might even be one. So here goes.
First question...I'm hoping to find an index of available plugins. Just a list & a very brief description of what's out there.
Second...I can't even find on Geeklog the repository where I go to fiind ones I know about. I want to try forums & gallery on my site, but I can't find them to download.
I mainly use Firefox, but I also explored with IE, and I haven't seen a link that looks right; I have spent some time searching GL's site...sorry to ask such a dumb question!

check the downloads-section
there is no real list of all available, but most of them are in the downloads-section.
the gallery can be found only on the gallery's homepage, google for "Menalto gallery" IIRC, the forum should be in the downloads.

A-HA!
The "Download" link under the Resources block on the left is not the same, not at all the same, as the "Downloads" link in our page headers.
Thanks, Tokyo, after I read your response, I went several times to the "Resources" "Download" page & just couldn't find a thing--then finally clicked on the page-top link for the very first time.

There is also a direcotry link that allows you to go back up a folder.
When you click the Dowload under Resources, you should see:
>Main>Geeklog
And if you click on Main it will go to the main directory where you see the root items.
