Geeklog Forums

I just installed the latest release of GL on my notebook server for testing (use Apache2Triad) using WinXP(SP2) and got the forum plugin recognized in Admin control panel and selected the install.

Trying to access the FORUM from Admin or website link I get the followiing error:

Template Error: set_root: c:/apache2/htdocs/geeklog/public_html/layout/Smooth_Blue/navbar is not a directory.
Halted.

Where do I start to correct this error?

I haven't changed any template files...

You should have. Read the manual and install the forum templates properly.

Well, I finally figured out what was wrong with my installation of the forum plug-in.

When adding the forum dirctory to each of the layout folders, I also needed to add the NAVBAR folder, this was NOT in the documents.

Once I installed that, forum works fine
