Hi,

I've installed Geeklog from Fantastico, but haven't been able to get the sendmail to email new users their password. All the correct paths have been set in the 'config.php' file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try one of the other options (mail or smtp).

Sorry for the non-specifics. I've tried SMTP, mail, and sendmail. When I use any of these it returns the message that my password will be emailed to me shortly. Then after waiting and waiting, nothing.

It's like the process never completes to send the email out.

Are the other email function (e.g. emailing a story) working? Do you have a dot in your site name (i.e. in $_CONF['site_name'])?

Well, I did get it working partially. Now when an email is sent out for a new registration I receive this message from my hosting account email...:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

earla12@hotmail.com
unrouteable mail domain "hotmail.com"

That doesn't sound like Geeklog's problem ... Try asking your hosting service for help.
