Turning some of the links OFF from displaying

Hey guys;

I am just wondering how turn OFF the some of the links
example:

Where I have GL versions test links under Admin

Here is all the links that I want to turn if off from Top main page links

Contribute
Web Resources
Calender ( I want to leave the link "My Calender' under User functions)
Past polls

hi you will have to edit the header.thtml
most likle removing {plg_menu_elements} and then hand coding in the links you want will work . However it dose depend on the layout you are using
they are all differont

I am using Axonz theme layout on my website. I do not have header.thtml files under Axonz theme. Any other idea.
