Custom submit Screen

Is there a way that i can have custom submit screen per topic. I want to have basically a submit for each of the six topics i have but have them slightly different in each one. Fo instance i have a music review section that i use the intro text section for the album name and the title for an artist name. I want to have just a certain length of characters for the intro text in this submit form. Where could i start chaning this r should i just start tearing appart the submit.php?

Or could i just use the templates from the layout directory and reference them instead?
