As you could see brackets at the end of two of my plugins

I believe you are talking about the Admin Block. This is output that you are sending in your plugin function.

Let me give an example:
function plugin_getadminoption_forum()

You will have:
Text Formatted Code

    return array('Forum', $_CONF['site_admin_url'] . '/plugins/forum/index.php', $numtopics);

The second parm $numtopics is what you are seeing.

Hi Blaine,

Thank you for responding fast.

But I do not have, what you have given in your example on the post. I have the following

return array('Carrier Management', $_CONF['site_admin_url'] . '/plugins/carrier/index.php');

So therefore it should work rite?

Ok - so your getting an empty bracket or maybe a N/A in the link.

Normally I like to see this information. It may just be used to show how many records are in the main plugin table.

You can't not for a single link. This is the Admin block and part of the layout is for each component to be able to show the admin (at a glance) if there are items awaiting approval in the submission queue.

If the plugin does not use moderation then it may show the number of records. Example forum shows the number of topics.

If you don't want to see this info for any of the links - then edit your template and remove the {option_count} variable. That would be the adminoption.thtml and adminoption_off.thtml
