disable plugin

can i disable my forum plug-in until i get more established without removing it? i have the forum installed and running properly now i just want to turn it off

Under the Admin menu, select "plugins". When you get the list of plugins, click no the number for the forum(or any plugin for that matter) not the name. You will get will get a page with an "enabled" checkbox. Uncheck it and save.
