Every time that my site has had comment spam attempted recently (they failed thanks to SpamX) I noticed the following Google search in my stats:

"post a comment" anonymous "Allowed HTML tags"

The spammers are looking for pages where they can post comments with those specific features.

I just wanted to make everyone aware of this. This has been going on for a couple weeks but I did not connect the dots so to speak until a couple days ago. My suggestion would be to use SpamX and keep the MT Blacklist updated every couple days.

Tomw is also posting a note to the developers forum to possibly change the comment format to a form style to prevent this type of search from working.
