I am creating a new site (books-on-antiques.com) I want to be able to use Geeklog. The site is basically a book shop based on Amazon searches. Can I load a remote url (Amazon Search) automatically on opening a static page? How do I accomplish this?

Not sure what you want to accomplish. An additional search from Amazon? Is it something like here? Top right block.

I think what you want is the extermal pages plugin. I'm not sure if it is still in development.
