Spaces in Usernames

Are there any known problems or issues with allowing spaces in Usernames? It appears that Geeklog doesn't prevent it at the time of registration.

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

I've never had a problem with it on my site and a bunch of my users have spaces in their names.
