I installed the Glchat plugin and get the following error when i try to access the Default chat room:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/{databasename}/public_html/phpmychat/mychat/chat/lib/database/mysql.lib.php3 on line 26
Database error: Link_ID == false, connect failed
MySQL error: 0 ()
Session halted.

When I installed the plugin I followed the instructions in the admin/plugins/phpmychat/install.html file. Which in retrospect was kinda dumb. It seems pretty obvious now that I should have looked for more install docs but I am new to this and I assumed that the install.php and install.html files would be the same.
