There should be option or I am not finding it in the download pack so that :

Guest can submit news or whatever in their own name ( provided that name has not been taken up alread )

option to include image at one go with submitted news
( admin can enable or diable it )

SORT of topics by date, subject fiels, author in each category at lower part of the page that can be done by any viewer

Don't know about 1 and 3, but if you give the story.edit right to a group (All Users) or (Logged In Users), they will have the full story editor, which allows them to include images.

As an admin go to the Groups section to make that change.

Can someone please tell how that can be done -
these are functions coming almost in-packed with stuff like e107.org ( so why not those ? coz geeklog has some more features which i will need )
