Removing a Topic

I've installed a Topic by inserting "Apple&Pears" in the Topic ID dialog box and ever since I can see the Topic in my admin panel and on the site but I cannot edit/delete it.
I desperately want to remove it. How do I do this?

manually delete the row from your gl_topics table in the db--not sure, but i think that will do the trick.
