Upgrade from 1.3.9rc1 to 1.3.9rc2

Is it necessary to run the 'install' program, after copying over the 1.3.9rc2 files into the directories where the 1.3.9rc1 files were located?

You will only need to run the install when setting up a new geeklog install or upgrading from a older version. The install script creates the SQL tables or applies any SQL changes for new versions.

Since you are only upgrading to the new Release Candidate for 1.3.9, you won't need to run install to upgrade your tables. Dirks note on the front page includes a manual SQL change that can be done to alter the a field in the block table. This change is really only needed if you have more then 25 blocks setup on your site.
