here is a question for you everyday geeklog users:

im pretty new to this stuff, html is my second language, but when it comes to PHP, mySQL, and stuff similiar, i would have a better chance if it was in japanese...

is geeklog the right thing for me?

I am new too and in fact when problems occur I need support from experts here at the source.

blog scripts as geeklog are very useful and interesting.

Basic features are easy to learn, I suggest yougive it a try at least.

You don't need to know PHP or (My)SQL to use Geeklog. Read the installation instructions. If you can understand those, then you can use Geeklog.

Knowledge of PHP and MySQL comes in handy when you want to extend Geeklog or you want to customize your site beyond the usual. For basic operation, you don't need to know them. Even the themes are pretty much plain HTML.
