Okay, I did a quick scan on the Geeklog features and the feedback forum and couldn't find this topic covered, but please beat me if it was.
Currently I'm chairing a homebrew club in the Netherlands. Within the board we do a lot of discussion and decision making via e-mail. That process is going rather smooth, but with multiple discussions running in parallel it's hard to keep up with who's responded yet, and - more important - who didn't vote yet (in case of a formal proposal after some informal discussion).
What I'm looking for is a (web-based) solution that facilitates both the informal (discussion) and the formal (voting) part of the decision process. Also, I'd like to archive the discussion and decision for future reference. Preferably it should be possible to manually group results on subject. I think that such a solution could be interesting in many private and business situations.
Current solutions (like Geeklog forum) cover the discussion part very well. Also, with polling solutions the voting part is covered. A combined solution does not exist yet (as far as I know).
Thoughts anyone?
