I know you can't use tabs to indent PHP files. Can they be used in theme files?

MY BAD!!

I thought tabs would screw up PHP code in some instances. ANYWAY!

I guess I will make life easier on myself and use tabs instead of spacing over.

The reason tabs are often not used or not recommended is that they are viewed differently or treated differently by various editors and viewers. Some tabs may be 4 spaces and other 8 spaces or more for example.

I personally now convert all tabs to 4 spaces when I'm working on a php or html file.
