Is it possible to build an index page for - say - 3 out of 7 topics in GL? How?

This is my situation:
I'm having topics like
"apples", "bananas", "carrots", "pork", "chicken", "cars", "boats"

now you see it would be handy to provide topic pages also for
"vegetables"
"meat"
"vehicles"

GL doesn't really support that.

However, the Menu plugin will allow you to make topics and sub-topics. Thus, you could have the main topics vegetables, meat, and vehicles, and then all of the appropriate sub-topics.

Menu does not have nested topic pages.

If I sign a story in vegetable_bananas, it is shown only on vegetable_bananas page, not on vegetable_ -topic with things assigned to vegetables_apples etc as it should.
