I've installed the latest Geeklog (for the first time) to try out, and am having some wierd things going on.
I've taken a theme, copied it, and made modifications to get the color scheme I want. That shows up fine. However, I noticed that the left column after an install doesn't show any user functions after logging. The login and password fields are still there, even though on the right it says I am logged in as Admin. There are no user functions, the What's New is on the right (and that's with installing with XSilver as the default again).
If I try to re-install, and indicate that it is an upgrade, I get an error message that appears to be MySQL indicating that there is something already there. If I delete the MySQL database and re-create a blank one, I can do a fresh install. But I get the same thing! Aside from the path stuff, config.php is the same as what I started with.
Is there some file that is created on the site that I need to delete to start over from scratch?
