I installed geeklog on my IIS server and it worked just fine.
While installing it on my isp server in exactly the same way i get this error:
Cannot instantiate non-existent class: database in /home/httpd/vhosts/aquaserver.nl/httpdocs/portaal/system/lib-database.php on line 113
I did not use Dreamweaver or Winzip, used notepad and winrar, so i guess there couldnt be corrupted files.
I tried to install another Geeklog on my mates pc the same way and we get the same error there.
What can be the problem?
Thnxx
Still don't give a *censored*

I would guess that your paths are not correct in config.ph and lib-common.php
It isn't finding the lib-database.php file.

If it didnt find it, how come the error message show the correct path to it?
see:
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: database in /
home/httpd/vhosts/aquaserver.nl/httpdocs/portaal/system/lib-database.php
on line 113
I don't think thats the problem, but thanks anyway.

if it failed to open that file it would say:
Fatal error: Failed opening required '/home/httpd/vhosts/aquaserver.nl/httpdocs/portaal/system/lib-database.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear')
and it didn't, theres something wrong on line 113 IN that file.
Wheres Dirk when you need him.....

No need to answer this topic no more.

Switching to some other portal thing.
Way too much difficulties with GL for me so far.
Thanx for your help over here and keep it cool.

Kinda anwsers the path problem. They are wrong. Read the install, it is pretty easy to install.
