Font Formatting Changes - PLEASE CLOSE

I selected all the text in my story and changed the font in the drop-down box to Verdana and size 10. After saving the file, I returned to the front page and the font of the story had changed to Georgia at size 12. It's very strange, does anyone know a fix?
