In local Geeklog works but doesn't in Internet!

Hi all!
I hava a strange problem. I just installed Geeklog, everything went ok. I saw the succes.php and the check.php was right, without any faults.
Then I changed the config.php. Instead of localhost (http://localhost/public_html), I changed it and wrote my ip (http://XXX.XXX.X.XX/public_html).
I think this is the only change I have to make in order to publish my geeklog site. When people come to see my site, they only see the main page, but when they click a link to another php page (polls, personalize, etc..) they get an internet explorer error saying the extensions are bad or corrupted , something like that.
I hava also made the check.php with my geeklog site at the internet, and was ok too, so I don\'t know what\'s happening.
The thing is that in localhost everything works fine but there\'s a problem when I put my ip address..
Just say that I\'m behind a router, but I have redirected the port 80 to my machine, and Apache is listening to that port too.
Thanks in advance, see ya laterz!

Well, that error message isn\'t very helpful. Ask your visitors to try with a browser that does display proper error messages. You also could have a look at your webserver\'s error_log file to see if you can find anything there.
Without more information, that is about all I can suggest.
bye, Dirk

Hi!,
I tryied again and I got the same message. Visitors can view the main page, but when they click something, they get a pop up message from IE saying:
\"Internal error at the Microsoft explorer extensions\"
Here\'s a copy of the error log from Apache:
[Thu Oct 09 23:15:22 2003] [notice] Parent: Created child process 2952
[Thu Oct 09 23:15:23 2003] [notice] Child 2952: Child process is running
[Thu Oct 09 23:15:23 2003] [notice] Child 2952: Acquired the start mutex.
[Thu Oct 09 23:15:23 2003] [notice] Child 2952: Starting 250 worker threads.
[Thu Oct 09 23:17:24 2003] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: D:/Apache Group/Apache2/htdocs/ads, referer: http://rad.msn.com/ADSAdClient31.dll?GetAd?PG=HOTES3?SC=PPHM=045c44465b5e5a51471c544b51161403496d7a51102352153d4b13595e

I did a copy/paste of the error in Opera, but I get a Msn picture without loading..something weird. Geeklog error log doesn\'t display any error message.
So I don\'t know why it isn\'t working, as I said before, it works perfectly in local area, but when I change localhost at config.php and write my ip address, It keeps saying that stuff of microsoft explorer extensions.
Another thing that may help, is that a MacOSX with the mac explorer (Jaguar I thing or Mozilla, don\'t know..the default mac installs ) can\'t load anything. It says that http://my_ip_addres/public_html can\'t be found.
Thanks in advance, see ya laterz.

Hi, it\'s me again, I did a search at microsoft support web site and I got this..
When you browse the Internet over a dial-up connection, you may receive the following error message:
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://Web site name. An internal error occurred in the Windows Internet Extensions.
But it doesn\'t make sense, because everyone that tryied watching my geeklog site was in adsl and not dial-up
here\'s the link of the microsoft support site:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=222909
Thanks again.
