When I add a static page, it doesn\'t get added to the Topics menu, and when I click on one of them in the Static Page list, it comes up blank.
Likewise, when I go to the Gallery, it comes up blank.
Here\'s what I did to cause this problem:
I set up Geeklog inside a subdirectory to test it and make sure I could figure out how to use it before going live with it (it\'s on somebody else\'s site and I didn\'t want to screw up their existing one). The public files were at /home/foo/public_html/testing/ and the non-public stuff was at /home/foo/geeklog/
Once I was satisfied with my template and such, I moved the public files out of the testing dir and into the public_html one and modified the paths in config.php to reflect that. The forums work, but the Gallery (which I installed after the move) and Static Pages do not.
When I view source on the Gallery or a Static Page, it\'s also blank.
Any hints anyone can offer?
I have no idea what I'm doing.

What type of static pages are you using? are you using any PHP static pages?
Also, if you try to edit a staticpage, is the content you entered still in the page, or has it disappeared as well? (You can edit a page, even if you can\'t access it by clicking the its number in the staticpages list)
Since you moved the directory, did you update all of the paths in the config.php file?

I got the static pages to work, but I\'m not sure how. tried a bunch of stuff, reinstalled a few files, checked permissions, etc., and suddenly they showed up. But I\'ll answer your quuestions for the benefit of anybody else who manages to screw up like I did...
I have no idea what I'm doing.

Plain ol\' vanilla HTML

Nope.

I could edit them as much as I liked. It kept the changes, no problem. It just kept loading a blank page when I tried to view them.

I thought so. checked them over and again, and everything seems to work except the Gallery with the Geeklog embedding. Before I embedded it, it was working just fine. I have no idea what I'm doing.
