I\'ve got my site set-up so that new account requests are moderated (must be approved) by moderator as described in various places in the forums.. This does seem to work. I get the email saying there is a new user request. I go to the moderator page and approve them. They do indeed get a password and their account works....so gee..what am I complaining about.. The problem is that when I submit the page with the approve, it never comes back with an \"OK\" or complete. Instead I get the standard microsoft browser meaningless error/blank page...So I worry that something is not happening right. I see no errors in either the httpd error log. Also, my users are apparently not geeks because almost without fail they have used spaces in their usernames. The new user HTML pages do not do any username verification so the account requests come through with spaces in the names (note though that the first problem I mentioned really is independant of users with spaces in their name. It happens either way). So, what really happens with users with spaces in their username and if it is so bad, perhaps there should be either client side or server side username verification code run

Not sure why you\'re getting an empty page after approving users ... Spaces in usernames shouldn\'t cause any problems - at least I\'m not aware of any. Geeklog operates on the user id internally anyway. bye, Dirk
