I\'m still trying to resolve my timeout issues over here. Essentially, I\'m seeing timeout issues during posting of messages, and length, while a factor (i.e., extremely long posts always timeout), is not the real issue (i.e., even some brief posts timeout). What SQL query could I use (entire syntax, please, as SQL is not my forte) to test these queries directly from the MySQL client instead of via PHP? TIA

You want SQL to post a new forum message or a new story?

Either would do, but a story posting would probably be the best. I\'ve had the most failures with stories. Thanks for replying, Dwight. Much appreciated.
