question 1: what is \"extra user settings\" in the forum settings? i\'ve toggled it on and off and can\'t figure out what it does question 2: you can\'t use the <img> tag in the forums, it gets stripped off, even though its one of the tags people can click on and use! How can I make it so people can include pictures? thanx people

Ignore the second question, solved it. First question is still valid, stll dunno what it does

It display more infomation about the poster in the cell that shows the posters username. It uses the information from the profile settings.

how did you fix the image tag thing??

You can add the img tag to the list of allowable HTML in config.php. However, you should be aware that this may make your site vulnerable to scripting / XSS attacks. bye, Dirk
