Hi, I\'ve noticed that some text (mainly in block dates, block titles and in general time and date functions) is always posted in English, no matter what. I\'ve read through other forum articles and find that language files and blocks aren\'t necessarily connected together, and that system time, time zones and date are taken directly from the server. Well, if I may wish something, that would be to connect all systems to a centralized language file. I know it\'s not feasable now, considering the numerous authors contributing to GL, but... This makes me suggest these alternates: - enabling language file access as a custom feature to block submissions. I mean, that would guaranty an uniform look and feel through the site, no matter the user\'s language. I know I can customize each block files, I\'d do, but my users are French or English speaking, so I need a choice. - having the time and date system connected to the server\'s clock, with references to the main language file as to interpret day, month and time zone names, and possibility to choose a different time zone (I mean, my server is in California\'s PDT and my address is in the Eastern zone). - someone with PHP skills creating a block enabling anon user\'s to change language from the front page and not having to go to pref\'s to do so. - finally, I\'d like to have access to this calendar option: the hability to repeat the same event according to a pattern: every Tuesday between March to December for example. I know it\'s a lot of different things to consider, but these are my wishes for GL 1.4 or 2. This Geeklog thing is sent by Gods, I swear I love it. If I had time, I\'d learn PHP so I could participate in it\'s growth. I mean, I\'ve shopped around, and this is the best. I\'m a travel agency manager, and my portal will be switched to GL this Automn, as soon as I can find time to update my material for the cold season. Have fun y\'all. jef
