File Management timeout problem

When I try to upload an 8MB file remotely, the submit page stays for a few minutes and then times out to page not found or something like that. I\'m wondering if there is a size limit I\'m not finding in the config files? Could the script timer of 30sec in php.ini affect this?

There's also a max. size for file uploads in php.ini. It's usually at something like 2 or 8 MB.

Wow, that coulda BIT me...hehe. I got conTEXT and replaced notepad and now I can actually see \"File Uploads\" staring right at me...scary... Thanks mucho.
