Upgrade Questions

I read the following in the upgrade instructions: Upgrading is no different than a fresh installation except your database already exists and needs to be upgraded. - With that said, and the fact that I have not kept track of all the files I have changed (I know, i am a noob), am I hosed? Do I have to go through each file one by one? Can any of the old files be used still?

With the exception of lib-custom.php and the theme - no. Mixing files from different versions is asking for trouble. I\'d suggest you compare your files against the original files of the old version you\'re running (the tarballs of older versions are still available from our downloads section), using diff (or whatever the Windows equivalent may be, if you\'re on Windows). Next time you make modifications to any of Geeklog\'s core files a) take notes and b) add comments with some easily identifyable string that you could grep for. bye, Dirk
