Hey folks, I'm thinking of writing a chat plugin but do not want to reinvent the wheel. I know about the chatterblock but I mean a more feature-rich thing that would be in the center of the page and probably allow different chat rooms and so on. If someone is already working on it I will not bother. cheers, -Alan

Chatterblock could easily be extended to have an admin feature to create and moderate rooms and have it appear in the center block. A possible future project Blaine

This flash chat works great with GL http://www.tufat.com/script2.htm I never used it on a production site but I spent the $5 for it and set it up with no issues on a couple text servers.
Yes I am mental.

I use flashchat on KensohaOnline.net. I can say that it's a great product, but slow to load. Not a big deal. For $5. you can't go wrong.
