I edited the random quotes phpblock I found at www.squatty.com and the EDICT Japanese dictionary from http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/edict.html to make a random kanji-of-the-day block for g-comm.net (not exactly rocket science, but small things...) If anyone wants the edited 5MB data file, let me know. By the way, the data is free for non-commercial use, but check the licence on the above page. The file contains HTML tags, so if the script was changed, the file could be reduced to about 3MB. Or you could just delete half the words in it, I guess. Euan
