Ever wanted to display stock quotes on your Geeklog site?

Stock Quotes is a Geeklog phpblock for creating and displaying stock share price quotes made available from the Yahoo! Finance website.

Stock Quotes features are as follows:

Consists of three views: default view, administration view, and quote view Displays customizable stock quotes for registered users Displays a "default" set of quotes configured by the site administrator for anonymous users Has a built in caching mechanism

There's a few know issues which I have pointed out in the README. If you run into any other problems let me know.

Mark, What have you changed with the stockquote block. It looks like the pre GL1.3.5 release that has been available. I have GL 1.3.5 installed and just copied over my stockquote code and have not had any problems. Visiting your site - it looks to be the same. Thanks.

Mostly performance related items. Here's a copy of the change log: - Added "Add to my Watch list" logic on the quotes page - for registered users ONLY - Fixed hard coded table background color. The block looks better with the 1.3.5 GL themes! - 5/2/02 - Fixed caching of "Edit" link - 5/2/02 - Symbol/Quote caching is enabled by default - 5/2/02 - Added PHP Block timer - 4/29/02 - Fixed block header/footer hard coding in admin.php - 4/22/02
