System Message and frontpage - static page

I am using the frontpage static page and was wondering if there is anyway to get the System message to pop up above the frontpage (static page) rather then below. I am using the Xsilver and Evolution themes (I am not sure if this is theme specific). Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

You will need to move the call to COM_showMessage (in index.php) around a bit - probably copying it into more than one place. bye, Dirk

Thats a little beyond the scope of what I am capable of, so I guess I will leave it as it is. Unless someone would be so kind to help me out. Thanks!!

I took a look in index.php and there was no COM_showMessage. Is that the right file?

Line 158 for the index.php that ships with 1.3.7sr2: $display .= COM_showMessage($HTTP_GET_VARS['msg']); bye, Dirk
