RSS Feed Creation

Hello. On our GL site, we have someone that adds articles in from our local newspaper. I am interested in creating our own RSS feed and adding it to our existant news block. Does anyone have an idea of how I can do this? Any help is appreciated!

Oh ok. I did know that, sorry. Is there a way I can apply that to only one topic? For example, we have a topic created called "Newspaper Articles". Can I customize the rdf feed to only display those articles?

Is there a way to see the detail, at the moment I can only see the headline on my site, as well as yours.
However one story on your site had detail, I was wondering what made that different.
The story was "Command & Control Showing Unauthorized Controls"
I am using NetNewsWire on the Mac, it could be a client issue !

By "detail" you mean the content of the story? That will actually be an option with the next release of Geeklog - but that version isn't running here on geeklog.net (yet). So I wonder what you saw ...
bye, Dirk

I'm always hesitating if I think I know an answer; did I understand the question right?
you can edit the default feeds properties at <yoursite>admin/syndication.php?mode=edit&fid=1
or just go to "Content Syndication" and choose the pencil symbol next to the feed you want to edit
There is an option "Contents" which says by default "All Stories"
You can choose any topic there...
So if you make a topic "Today's headlines by that-and-that paper" and place all stories from that paper in that topic, your feed will show only those stories.
