I just tried to install Forum 2 and after puttibg the files in the correct places, I rub the http://[my domain]/admin/plugins/forum/install.php. I get a web page that reads

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

The other wierd thing is that Forums doesn't show up in the admin/plugins panel.

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated by this newbie geek!

Thanks!

Do you know if PHP is running as a module, or a cgi executable? I have never seen an error like that while using php. But my server uses php as a module. Just wondering.. Matthew

Good question.. I am not sure off the top of my head. Are you hosting the site, or do you have someone doing it for you? Matthew

Hello,

In IIS, you need to make sure your HOME DIRECTORY is pointing to public_html. You are probably having IIS point to something like 'c:usersgeeklogwww' instead of 'c:usersgeeklogwwwpublic_html'

Good luck,

G
