Installation DB has no tables

I recently installed GL and attempted to create the database using PhpMyAdmin (before the install). I previously installed phpnuke w/o any db probs. When I try to create the geeklog db in PhpMyAdmin it has no tables. I am getting this error: Warning: fopen("/var/www/MYDOMAIN/html/GL/geeklog-1.3.7sr1/logs/error.log", "a"Wink - Permission denied in /var/www/MYDOMAIN/html/GL/geeklog-1.3.7sr1/public_html/lib-common.php on line 1457 1146: Table 'geeklog.gl_blocks' doesn't exist Any help is appreciated.

The fopen error is permissions. You need to give the webserver write access to then logs directory and the log files. Just to clarify: You need to create the database but don't create any tables before running the install. Blaine

Have you tried dropping the database, then recreating an empty database before doing a clean Geeklog 1.3.7 install? Blaine
