The obvious comment would be Please read the installation instructions carefully. It's all explained there ...

You are probably on a shared hosting account. You will need to chmod the log files to 777.

Thank you so much. I caught the portion stating " "whitespace" after the closing ?>" but missed what was on top. SIlly me. Will try again.

I have the same error. I've changed the chmod from 755 - 775 to 777. The error still happens. If you find the answer, please let me know. Jeff
