Im really sorry for this newbish question but what folder am i suppose to create in my ftp program to put all the geeklog stuff in? Thanks

What kind of webspace do you have? Put the stuff from the geeklog/ public_html in your web tree like /users/username/htdocs or public_html And all the other stuff from the geeklog folder SHOULD NOT be there, put it out of your web-accessible directory otherwise you have to protect them with .htaccess files.
