Hey there.

I have, what might seem to be a simple question. I have had the same trouble understanding PHP Nuke and other web projects based on PHP. I do have Geeklog installed and working, so aparently I have understood something Smile

Heres the beef - I simply do not understand the /path/to/geeklog statement and how it interacts with my apache server settings.
I have a virtual server directive in my httpd.conf pointing to /var/www/html/geeklog/public_html, this seems to be the correct way of setting up a virtual server. I have a dns cname pointing to the virtual server, should that be a host entry instead ?

I tried installing the staticpages plugin but got tons of "unable to include" errors, which confuses the hell out of me, since everything should be in its rightfull place.

OK Time out. The above statements can be confusing, I guess what I'm asking is for someone to spell the structure of the paths out to me, where they reside in the conf files and what it means.

That's it. And that's all. Thanx for listening.

To be or not to be, that is the question.
