I guess you did not see that one when you looked around, understandable. To assume there was "no calendar plugin still"?. The main www.geeklog.net site does not utilize the calendar plugin. However, it is active in both the demo sites, and does come bundled in the download archives.

I recall there being an updated plugin with recurring events, etc. Will it ever be integrated with Geeklog?

I have located the
calendar plugin[*1] that you are referring to and have read thru the docs on it. Have determined that (jmucchiello) Joe Mucchiello, the author, has not worked on the plugin since the January 2009 release. He states in the release file that the recurring events did not make the cut. Download the archive and read thru it and make your decisions if you want to use it or not. You can certainly try to contact Joe and see if he's willing to make additional updates to the plugin or not.

Right. I was hoping that the GSofC Calendar project would be added.
