My client is running an older version of GL - 1.5.2 with Spam-X 1.1.2.
I'm trying to update the admin_override setting for Spam-X to true, but I don't see the option anywhere in the configuration area? I've looked everywhere. Under Spam-X, it just shows:
Spam-X Actions : 136.
Where is the admin_override setting in GL config?
Thanks for any help.
Mike

I don't actually have a 1.5.x install handy, but it should be in the Spam-X Configuration Section, i.e. select "Spam-X" from the list on the left side. I guess what you are looking at is the Spam-X section under "Users and Submissions".

Thanks Dirk.
Unfortunately, it's not there. When you click on the Spam-X administration on the left, there are 9 links, none of which contain the admin_override setting. This is what's available:
Text Formatted Code
Edit Personal Blacklist
Edit HTTP Header Blacklist
View Spam-X Log
Edit SLV Whitelist
Edit IP of URL Blacklist
Mass Delete Spam Comments
Mass Delete Trackback Spam
Edit IP Blacklist
Spam-X Plugin Documentation
Also, in the Spam-X Plugin Documentation, it states that the following options should be in the Admin Configuration area, but the only option available is "action":
Text Formatted Code
The Spam-X plugin's configuration can be changed from the Configuration admin panel:
logging
admin_override
timeout
notification_email
action
Can I change the admin_override value to false directly in the database? If so, where is it located?

That's the Spam-X plugin itself.
I meant on the Configuration page, on the left side, there's a list of entries. The first is "Geeklog" and is selected by default when you enter the Configuration. Below that is a list of all the plugins, since the plugins have their own Configuration sections. One of them should be for the Spam-X plugin.

Your looking in the wrong spot. What you list is the Spam-x Admin form.
In the "Admins Only" block click on "Configuration". Once in the Geeklog Configuration, you then click on "Spam-X" under the "Configuration Sections".

You are a patient man Dirk.
Here are all the options in the left nav of the Config section. To confirm that I didn't miss anything earlier,I just clicked on every one of them, and the only Spam-X option I find is that action option under Users and Submissions. I have phpmyadmin access to the DB, so if I can locate that field, I'm not opposed to changing it directly.

Thanks for trying to help Tom.
It's not there. Under configuration settings, there is only:
Geeklog
Links
Admin Home

It should be in that list. Looks like something went wrong with the installation.
If you don't have a lot of data in the Spam-X plugin yet, you could try to simply uninstall and re-install the plugin (from the Plugins admin panel).
If you do have data that you want to keep, then that would require some poking around in the database.
