I created a brand new site and upgraded it using GLv1.7.1rc1. It is working great and have it almost completely populated.
I now want to delete my old original html site, which resides in the root of my hosting account, and replace it with my new GL site.
The current structure is ..... http://www.oldhtmlsite.com/newGLsite/
My question is this .....
Do I simply remove my old html site files, place a copy of my new site in the root, along with the install directory that resides under the admin directory and run the install program from there, choosing "Migrate" as the function?
Didn't want to do this without first asking, as I didn't want to mess anything up.

Yep.
Or upgrade to the final
Geeklog 1.7.1 while you're at it (but you can always do that afterwards, of course).
bye, Dirk
