Subject: geek log and os x 10.5

We have Geeklog set up as our company intranet, on a linux box. It links into a sharepoint on our server which is or was an os x 10.4 server. We have moved to a new 10.5 xserve, but Geek Log can no longer access the share point with the linked files in it. I have recreated the symlink to the share point and I can browse through terminal into the symlink and and see all the data and folders. I can browse through the gui into the symlink and see all the files.
When I click on a link to a file I get the following error.
You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an issue with your server setup, not with Geeklog. Since you mention symlinks: Apache has a FollowSymlinks directive - you probably want to enable that. If in doubt, compare with the configuration of the old server.
