Hello all.
I want to (Badly) switch from Godaddy's horrible hosting back to SF for my open source project (The Electronic Ghost Hunters Companion).
I noticed that quite a bit has changed, mainly that htdocs is not longer writeable, and that I need to use the persistent folder for anything writeable..well the problem is, things like Geeklog need to have a # of items writeable..and I can't seem to use the symbolic links or anything to really get around installing them.
Has anyone here recently installed Geeklog and can you offer some tips?

I don`t really understand your problem. What do you want to install where? Geeklog on Godaddy? There is certainly a number of good hosting companies where it is easy to install GL.

The MultiFAQ plugin's demo site is on SourceForge. The trick is to install a local copy and then copy over the database and files. No other solution worked for me.
