1200 seconds = 20 minutes.

that means that the session should not expire before 20 minutes.
however in my case it expires well before that.
like 10 minutes.
What am i doing wrong.

but see its the nature of my site.
People login, then they tend to think what they want to write.
Once they start writing it can take then up to an hour to finish an aritcle.
They do that and end up on the login page that is like really frustrating.
So is there a particular function i can hack to fix this?
Right now i my site is really problematic to occasional user.
Any ideas what do i do? I have already set the ttl to 2400 and that is obviously not working
--
Added latter:
my users are story editors(they can publish their own stories). And they are getting logged landing on the login page.

You could try the Autosave plugin, but that is not working 100% perfectly IMHO. I´m no developer, so I can´t help you any further.

well autosave seems to be working fine. Problem happens when u hit the save button after autosave has been invoked once.

That shouldn't happen.
Just checking: Is it the session that expires (i.e. you have to log into the site again) or does the token expire (i.e. you lose the story content, but stay logged in)?
bye, Dirk

i have given my users story admin privileges. So that they can publish their own stories.
In my case they are landing on the login page.

I`m having no problem using 2400 for 40 minutes with GL 1.5.1 or 1.6.0b1
I am not being logged out but I had to set the 'remember me' to a time other than "don`t".
