in my site gk 1.5.1 I cannot create my rss, when creating one in the section of sindication administration keeps the registry to me but it does not create the file to me, for example in this case " index.php"

Check the permissions on your backend directory. Are your existing feeds still being updated?

Hi dirk !!
It tries to give the permissions him, already it has directory 777, strange it of this is that feed of filemgmt if works, is created without problems and are in the same directory, but feed (rss) of articles is not created, keeps the registry but the file *.rss is not created.
What can be the problem?

I am having exactly the same problem with my feeds. They are not being created even though there is full access to the folder.

Dirk,
I've followed the code that creates the feed.
In lib-story on line 1213
Text Formatted Code
COM_rdfUpToDateCheck ('geeklog', $story->DisplayElements('tid'), $sid);
Why is update type set to 'geeklog'. Shouldn't it be 'article' to create the article feed? Am I missing something here?
Thanks
Tom

Yep, that's a bug and it should read 'article'. Fixed in the Mercurial repository. Thanks for spotting it.
However, that shouldn't be such a big problem. It would only mean that the feed is not updated immediately.

and how I can make the update so that quemis feed can work perfectly, in the directory where they estan has permissions 777, feed of plugin filemgmt works and it is created well in the same directory.

Just checking: Both of you do have feeds enabled in the configuration?
Configuration > Geeklog > Site > Syndication > Enable Feeds?
What happens when you edit your feed in the Content Syndication admin panel and simply save it again (without changing anything)?
bye, Dirk

Yup feeds where enabled.
After upgrading from 1.4.1 I notice after a few days that the Syndication Output Folder was incorrect and was instead using the default geeklog.rss file (I assume this should of been copied over from the config.php. I then noticed that the geeklog.rss file wasn't being updated. I then updated the Syndication Output Folder to use the correct file name went to edit and save a story (so the feed would be updated). Still no go.
That's when I changed the code in lib-story to update the rss feed after a saved story. After that things have been working fine.
The funny thing is I just checked my test Geeklog 1.5.1 site (for plugin use) and it's rss feed is working fine. This install was a fresh install not an upgrade like for the other site.

It eliminates all Rss from the administrator of geeklog, now tries to again create the RSS of the news… but I finish noticing that it appears to me the options to create the RSS of filemgmt, forum and links, but story does not appear, sera that the problem? …
In my configuration if I have activated feed.
